The City of the Dancing Carp

From the creators of the 2 million-copy selling global phenomenon, MAPS, this interactive gift book for all the family is hours of fun! A choose-your-own adventure twist on search-and-find books, City of the Dancing Carp blends fantasy storytelling with role-playing games and incredible art.

Containing three different elements in one beautiful package:

* A large format colour book filled with fantastical scenes of the city and all its characters preparing for a festival.
* A black and white Traveller's Notebook to let you track progress, complete puzzles, read clues, mark things they've collected and help use the stickers.
* 7 sheets of stickers to use throughout.

A fantastical city is frantically preparing for its Festival of the Seven-Armed Orangutan — and there is a lot going on! Explore the city and its many characters at your own pace, but be ready for magical storms, werecats awakened by a red moon, salamander knights, illegal avocado smugglers, enchanted weddings, giant monsters seeking revenge, mysterious diseases, wandering skeletons, and much, much more.

Every character in the city is identified by a number. When you meet someone and want to join in their adventure, simply look up their number in the Traveller's Notebook. They might ask for your help, send you on a quest, set you a puzzle, give you an item, reveal clues, or point you towards another part of the city. Every quest is interconnected, and solving one mystery may unlock another several pages away — no two journeys through the city are ever the same.

A world of fantasy, humour, and adventure awaits.
